The private library looks spectacular, filled with questionable books with magnificent cover designs.
They are mostly gold engravings and written in French or Latin. What matters in this library is the ambience of those centuries’ old libraries, the vibe of classical music and English tea.
The books are sourced from flea markets, or junkyard sales, places where you can find treasures if you know what to look out for.
Libraries are just places to store books/ knowledge if you’re into digital libraries, and these worn-down books need a place to call home too. It might be about filling in empty shelves in the beginning, but trust me when I say we love to hoard too many stuffs.
And there will come a
time when it isn’t hard work to find vintage books anymore, rather it is
painful to find books that you fell in love with, and have to find ways to
store them in your overflowing library.
