Mint lemonade

There is a time and place where mint lemonade is needed, but not all the time. It is a spicy, tangy taste that lingers differently from cold sparkling water but in a good way.

Like all seasonal drinks, this old favourite belongs to the summer vibes, a chill and fun phase of nature that toys with the idea of a distant bloom and a coming gloom.

Imagine a drink with its ingredients growing side by side, the mint leaves hugging a stunted lemon tree, coexisting as a destined couple towards the end of their cycle.

The garden will smell like how anime meadows should smell like, and patches of mint leaves turning lemony flavoured, and lemons turning minty.

Plants don’t trade DNA like it’s a gift exchange party, but we do. And to the best of my knowledge, it usually ends with conformation and assimilation of thoughts and ideas.

Lemons and mints don’t mix, but they might if we give this drink a go.
