RWC 2 - Perspective

Two friends are walking together in the park. No one speaks to the other. One is pretending to admire the clouds, and one is pretending to be interested in kicking stones on their path. Both are pretending to be good, and they continue their walk in silence.

Just then, a child comes running towards them, holding a big red balloon and wants to show it off to the whole world. He runs past the two friends, turns his back and shouts: "Look at me! I'm flying! Too bad you don't have one!", and runs off.

The two friends look at each other, and smile. They smile at the thought of how sad the child would be, when he sees a perforated balloon tomorrow morning. Ah, innocence. What an amazing day it is to be alive!
