A Minty Cup of Common Sense

You don’t need me to remind you of how serious the virus is, right?

Unless you’ve been living in outer space for the past few months, you’re probably tired of the words CORONA VIRUS bombarding into your life every now and then. It doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, and I pray that you’ll be the same too. The virus can go, though, I’m pretty sure no one would miss it.

To throw it out there: What is wrong with humans?

All these panic buying, discriminating against other races, selfishness… how should I say it? By the way, to all those people who basically bought the whole supermarket and still think you’re doing right, congratulations on being brave while panicking for your life by feeding yourself misinformation just to show the whole world what your true colors are! You definitely deserve a medal for your ability to float above shallow waters, because the nation desperately needs people like you to make it a kinder place!

This outbreak brings out the worst in people, but it brings out the best as well.

Hotels are cleared out for patients and even hospitals can be built within days to turn this into a slow pandemic. The best part for me is seeing wild animals roaming the streets clear of my fellow humans. How happy those animals look!

Sadly, there are still people who refuse to let the virus deter them from their freedom and some short-term gratification. I can’t blame the irresponsible side for acting as though it won’t affect them. Maybe it’s because they have been neglected by society and no one ever cares for their existence? And when society does care, they are distraught to hear that all society ever wants from them is to just go home and don’t come out?

There are a lot of conspiracy theories going on, and I am not here to clear that up for you. That’s because I’m not an expert (duh) and there are so many scientific facts that are contradicting, that is hard to tell which is true.

There is one theory that I’m 100% sure is effective to curb Covid-19, which is to just STAY AT HOME. That’s the least you can do, and it’s so simple. Let me break it down for you into 3 easy steps, in case it is hard to follow:

1    1. Lock your front door
      2. Throw your keys away
      3. Stay there and don’t leave

How simple is that?!
