Something Fluffy

Some people may find it annoying to be around soft and fluffy things. They are precious time capsules harking back to a time some may have well forgotten—childhood.

Most of us are fortunate people to grow up with toys, more specifically, plush toys. (We’ll talk about the others next time) Instead of a locked door and high security cameras in the house, cute teddy bears holding heart-shaped pillows, a soft blanket and fluffy animal toys are what really protects a child from nightmares when they sleep.

Soft fluffy toys no longer offer the protective bubble we always wanted as we get older. They are useless.

Or are they?

Children develop emotional attachment to their toys and anything else that brings back pleasant memories. Just like how some people develop emotional attachment to their money.

Unlike money though, it does not bring any visible value, but a sense of longing and personal happiness.

Unfortunately, toys have an age limit.

If you’re seen carrying a stuffed teddy bear wherever you go, it may seem a bit odd. That’s where things get creative.

Soft and fluffy puffballs are added on footwear, keychains and handbags. Accessories are made for adults that are cute yet practical, like a kitten-eared headband, or a wooly purse. These items are not the trendiest thing on the market, still many people sought out to grab them.

True, soft and fluffy accessories make you seem a bit childish, but it does guarantee more comfort and joy compared to that expensive snake-skin handbag.

Some things are left behind during our childhood, but maybe some things are meant to stay. They are not a sign of unmatured and weak behavior, it’s just that they evolved and even got better in time.

With that said, if carrying a stuffed toy wherever you go is your thing, then go ahead and do it! As long as it does not cause any harm to anyone, you can do anything you like.

You might even plant a couple of smiles just by the courage and love shown to flaunt your favorite soft and fluffy friend in public😊
